Another Wave of Aliyah in 2010?

Ambassador (Ret.) Yoram Ettinger said: “In 2010, there is a unique potential for another wave of Aliyah and returning expatriates, due to the economic meltdown and the rise of anti-Semitism in the former USSR, France, Britain and Argentina, as well as the long-term US economic crisis. Will Jerusalem resurrect drastic Aliyah pro-activity? Will Jerusalem realize that Aliyah is the raison d’etre of the Jewish State and the crux of its national security and economy? Will Jerusalem elevate Aliyah to the top of its order of national priorities, thus dramatically bolstering the Jewish majority and uprooting demographic fatalism from the public debate over the territorial boundaries of the Jewish State?” (Read article)

God says: “I will bring back my exiled people Israel: they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine: they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says Yahweh your God.” … “I will take you out of the nations: I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. … I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. You will live in the land I gave your forefathers: you will be my people, and I will be your God.” [Amos 9:14-15; Ezekiel 36:24, 27-28].

The Jerusalem Connection says: The covenants God has made with the Jews are irrevocable and everlasting and are as valid today as in the days the prophets declared them. The modern state of Israel is based on the immigration of Jews from the various countries of the world and this immigration will continue in the future. God is simply using the world-wide rise in anti-Semitism to accomplish his decreed purpose of once again gathering them into His promised land. It’s important to note that Ezekiel predicts the Jews will return in a “profaned” state of unbelief. It is only then that Yahweh says, “I will sprinkle clean water on you and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Be assured God’s plan is right on schedule.
