The Committee on Homeland Security will hold a hearing on “The Extent of Radicalization in the American Muslim Community and that Community’s Response.” The Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. ET in room 311 of the Cannon House Office Building.

It has been estimated that contrary to common belief, upwards of 85% of Muslim leaders in America, including but not limited to mosque and religious leaders, community leaders, and other practicing Muslims are not cooperating with law enforcement authorities or intelligence officials regarding “radicals” in the U.S. Interestingly, it is estimated that nearly the same percentage – about 85% of mosques in the U.S. were or are being built with money from Saudi Arabia or funds from Wahabi donors who support jihad and consider jihad a religious obligation of all Muslims.

The hearing is being chaired by House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y, who has been the recipient of threats and intimidation tactics in recent months over this issue.
