Revival in the Last Days?

Q. I am intrigued by a prophecy I’ve read some time ago and reread recently by (a famous evangelist from the 1950’s who has since died). I don’t know if you are familiar with it, but it talks about a mighty outpouring of God’s Spirit on His people all over the world, the result of which is many people healed and delivered, after which the bride was ascending to the heavens (rapture). I would love to be part of that and through it seeing many more people added to the bride, so as them not having to go through the tribulation. What are your thoughts on this, please?

A. Many people are currently coming to the Lord in Africa, India, China and other parts of the far East. But the notion of a world wide revival before the rapture is not Biblical. The Bible says in the End Times the true Church will decline in power and influence in the world. As I read a transcript of this vision I saw many things that conflict with the Bible’s version of the End Times. I encourage you to focus on the Biblical account as it is the Word of God. Any vision of man that conflicts with it has to be viewed with suspicion.
