Biden the Prophet

By Bill Wilson

Iran is close to having enough uranium to make a nuclear bomb; Korea is advancing its nuclear delivery systems through missile tests; Hugo Chevez is making a move to solidify communism in Central and South America; Iran is meeting to boost its terrorist surrogates in Israel and Gaza; Syria is found to have a secret nuclear program; Mexican border areas with the US are growing with unrest and anarchy due to gang wars and drug-related killing; Pakistan is further appeasing terrorists, impacting the US fronts in Iraq and Afghanistan; and Russia, the mother of worldwide unrest is now making moves greater than at any time since the downfall of the Soviet Union.

Vice President Joe Biden is becoming a political prophet. Last October, Biden said that it would not be six months into the new Administration before the world tests the man who now occupies the Oval Office. While economic and political storm clouds are brewing around the entire world that could spell trouble for the US, Russia looms in the background with a very newfound confidence that it can rise to superpower status by challenging this new band of politicians now holding office in Washington, DC. There have been at least four moves by Russia that signal the new era in Washington will be challenged by a well-planned, aggressive and exploitive political and military agenda of Russia.

Russia announced it was forming a rapid response force with six former Soviet satellites to reassert itself in Muslim areas north of Afghanistan. Russia also was behind convincing the Kyrgystan government to shut down the main airbase providing US and NATO access to Afghanistan. Russia is planning to establish a naval base in the Black Sea port in Abkhazia, the area Russia conquered in its brief war with the Republic of Georgia last year. And Russia announced plans to point nuclear capable missiles at Poland and the CzechRepublic if the US establishes missile bases in those countries. Columnist Charles Krauthammer, in his article entitled "Kick Me Diplomacy" says the Administration is failing these tests.

Krauthammer says,
"I would like to think the supine posture is attributable to a rookie leader . . .But when the State Department says that Hugo Chavez's president-for-life referendum, which was preceded by a sham government-controlled campaign featuring the tear-gassing of the opposition, was "for the most part ... a process that was fully consistent with democratic process," you have to wonder if Month One is not a harbinger of things to come."
Jesus, speaking of the end times in Matthew 24:6, says,
"see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."
The Lord tells us not to be troubled, let us keep to His business and His assignments now more than ever.
