Prophecy Of Innocent Blood: Federal Policy Establishing Abortion Funding As Part Of Economic Stimulus Package

By Bill Wilson

The national policy toward helping the economy recover should include abortion and birth control so that there is less population that the government has to take care of - this according to Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi, appearing on ABC's "This Week" program with George Stephanopoulos, justified over 10 percent of the near trillion dollar economic stimulus program going toward "family planning" initiatives. Pelosi said, "Well, the family planning services reduce costs. . . the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government."

Pelosi, seemingly nervous with the question, collected herself when Stephanopoulos followed with "No apologies for that?", and replied, "No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy." With an Executive Order issued by the Oval Office reversing the Mexico City Policy that banned federal dollars funding overseas organizations that perform family planning services such as abortions, the ruling party now seems to see fit to expand the abortion industry with a gift of over $87 billion -much of which will teach homosexuality as normal as well as provide birth control both in the form of contraceptives and abortion to America's school children. They are calling it economic stimulus.

When campaigning, the man who now occupies the Oval Office promised Planned Parenthood that he would sign the Freedom of Choice Act if it passed Congress. The bill, which has failed to gain majority support in two previous Congresses, states: "It is the policy of the United States that every woman has the fundamental right to choose to bear a child, to terminate a pregnancy prior to fetal viability, or to terminate a pregnancy after fetal viability when necessary to protect the life or health of the woman." Now, Pelosi and the White House want to justify further padding the pockets of Planned Parenthood by saying abortion, birth control and sex education are needed for economic stimulus.

Minnesota Republican Congresswoman Michelle Bachman says that Planned Parenthood has an income of about a billion dollars a year, receives $300 million in grants from the federal government, and has a $115 million surplus. As a not for profit organization, Planned Parenthood pays no taxes. Bachman says that Planned Parenthood should be de-funded, but the ruling party is paying Planned Parenthood to kill the pre-born as part of its economic stimulus package. The Lord said in Deuteronomy 19:10, "That innocent blood be not shed in your land, which the Lord thy God gives you for an inheritance, and so blood be upon you." And He laid waste nations for shedding innocent blood. Shall he lay waste to America?
