Obama: It's in Palestine's Best Interest

By Michael G. Mickey

Barack Obama's long-anticipated speech to the Muslim world, delivered in Cairo, has finally been spoken and, in typical fashion, the entire liberal world is losing its mind praising him. Or should I say that the entire liberal world, already without a great deal of mind or conscience to begin with, is continuing its praise of him?

While there was much worthy of critique contained in Obama's speech, which was filled to the brim with pandering to Muslims everywhere, I am going to strive to limit my commentary on our apologist-in-chief's remarks to a discussion of what is in everyone's "best interest", from a prophetic perspective instead of the perspective Obama shared with the world today, one not a great deal unlike a speech our last president would have given, minus, perhaps, the ridiculous claim that "since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States." Now don't get me wrong here. I'm not suggesting that Americans of the Muslim faith haven't done many of the things Obama credited them with during our nation's storied history, but let's get real here: America was founded as a Christian nation. The role Muslims played in shaping this nation's early history? They played a role, sure, but it was anything but positive!

The first time Muslims enriched America wasn't a great deal different than the radical elements of the faith have in recent years. Did you know that the first time this nation ever went to war it did so to fight off Muslim pirates? It's true. That would be why our president then, Thomas Jefferson, owned the Koran that Obama brought up in today's speech in a pathetic attempt to shore up his claim of Muslims enriching the U.S. from the very start! Sorry, sports fans and liberals everywhere! Thomas Jefferson wasn't paying his respects to Islam by having a Koran as Barack Obama wanted everyone in Cairo to believe during today's speech; he had one because he wanted to understand America's enemies, but back to the topic at hand which is what Obama claimed today was in everyone's best interest.

The Two State Solution Delusion

At a point in today's speech, Obama said:
"As the Holy Koran tells us, "Be conscious of God and speak always the truth." That is what I will try to do – to speak the truth as best I can, humbled by the task before us, and firm in my belief that the interests we share as human beings are far more powerful than the forces that drive us apart." (emphasis added mine)
With all due respect to both Obama and the Koran, a lot of what Barack Obama had to say had very little to do with the truth. In fact, that speech was as far from the truth on one topic as the east is from the west! What topic am I referring to? The topic of Middle East peace being a realistic final outcome of the creation of a Palestinian state on Israel's covenant lands, an internationally concocted mess commonly referred to as the 'two-state solution'.

According to Obama, it is our responsibility, as in mankind's collective responsibility, to ensure that the day will come when Israelis and Palestinians will be able to live in "peace and security." An interesting concept, sure, but at what cost? To achieve this goal, the world will have to thumb its nose at Almighty God and His everlasting covenant with Israel by pandering to the Palestinians, the majority of whom voted for a terrorist organization to head their democratically elected government, not to mention create an existential threat for Israel to cope with in the process! Does that sound like a good idea to anyone, something in everyone's best interest? If so, please turn to Genesis 12:3 in the Holy Bible for starters. There you'll see that there is absolutely nothing the world can do contrary to Israel's best interests that's in mankind's best interest! That would be because Israel, not Palestine, is the apple of God's eye. (Zechariah 2:8)

Regardless, to hear Barack Obama, the two state solution is in the best interest of:
  1. Israel
  2. PALESTINE - Yes, he actually called the mythical nation of Palestine by name.
  3. America
  4. The world
Foolish mankind and its godless goals

May God have mercy on those He is willing to between now and the time the Tribulation Period begins as Barack Obama, on this very day, told the Muslim world and, via his goon squad (the mainstream media), that it is in the entire world's best interest for the seven-year Tribulation Period foretold in bible prophecy to begin. For accuracy's sake, Obama didn't knowingly say that and yet he precisely did. Why do I say that? Because the Antichrist to come, whoever he turns out to be, is going to confirm a covenant of peace in the Middle East seven years in length (Daniel 9:26-27). This event will, initially at least, cause many to rejoice that "peace and safety" has finally come! Their enthusiasm, however? It will be short-lived.
1st Thessalonians 5:3: For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (emphasis added mine)

The moral of the story? Be very careful what you wish for, particularly if what you wish for is what God doesn't!

Through God's Word, All of This Makes Perfect Sense!

The Bible long ago predicted that Jerusalem would become a "cup of trembling" and a "burdensome stone" to the world in the last days. (Zechariah 12:2-3)

Seemingly in direct response to that being the case, we're told in prophecy that, sooner or later, someone is going to come forward on the world's diplomatic stage who will take the world by storm by being, initially, a great peacemaker. He will "confirm" peace in the Middle East" with many" according to the prophet Daniel and, ironically, by the same peace "destroy many" according to Daniel 8:25. You see, by the time the true colors of this satanically anointed human being become visible and the world realizes he is the Antichrist, it will be too late for those who jumped on his bandwagon to get off it. And those who do? They will be fortunate to survive to the end of the Tribulation Period. That, my friends, is the cold, hard truth. Not Barack Obama-style truth, but biblical truth!

The End is Near

Just today someone wrote me to ask one of the most frequently asked questions ever posed to me, that question being whether I truly believe Christ's return is drawing near. My answer, of course, was yes! After all, on this very day, a powerful leader told the world, in a speech televised live around the globe, that what is in the world's best interest is for the world to enter into the prophesied Tribulation Period, assuming, of course, that the seven-year covenant of peace the Antichrist will confirm is going to be the one that leads to peace between Israel and its enemies, among whom are the Palestinians Barack Obama feels so sorry for --- the same Palestinians who danced in the streets and passed out candy on September 11, 2001.

The end times drama continues...

Call to the lost: What if the rapture comes and you're left behind?

One of the most-read commentaries on my site is its post-rapture survival guide.

If you're reading this today and haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I hope you will take what you've read here very seriously as today's topic is just one of many issues in our world today pointing toward the return of Jesus Christ for His Church, potentially in the not-too-distant future.

If you have never read or heard what the future holds for those who miss the rapture, please take time to read the guide linked above because its contents may well be your future if you continue to live your life in rebellion against God. From my perspective, if you want to put off coming to faith in Jesus Christ right now at the risk of dying and going to hell OR missing the rapture and having to endure the Tribulation Period, that's your call to make, but someone should still love you enough to share the facts with you so you're at least able to make an informed decision, weigh the risks and benefits, you know?
