Peace Now, a non-governmental political action organization is reporting that the Israeli government is planning to build more than 73,000 new housing units in the West Bank, Judea and Samaria, and that would mean a 100 percent increase in the population of Israel settlers.
This new construction would mean that the two largest Jewish settlements, Ariel and Ma'aleh Adumim, would double in size and that there would be almost 6000 new units in the eastern section of Jerusalem which is considered a Jewish settlement by the Palestinian people.

If the report is true that the Israeli government is about to double the population of the Jewish settlers in Judea and Samaria, then Bible prophecy is moving ever so close to being fulfilled.
The major thorn in the flesh in the peace process in the Middle East between the Israelis and the Palestinians has always been the Jewish settlements and the settlers in Judea and Samaria which many people refer to as the West Bank. World leader after world leader have said that there can be no true peace agreement until the Jewish settlers are evacuated out of Judea and Samaria and the land is given to the Palestinian people. The pressure has been applied on every Israeli government by the United States, the European Union, the United Nations, and Russia to dismantle the Jewish settlements so there can be peace in the Middle East. Now the report from Peace Now is that the Israeli government will double the population of the Jewish settlers especially under the new right wing Israeli government.
Should this be true we are moving right in line with the fulfillment of Bible prophecy for the last days. 2500 years ago, the ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote that the Lord would search the world for the Jewish people and bring them back into the land of their forefathers especially into Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, the locations of the present-day Jewish settlements. Ezekiel 36 says that the Jews will prosper in their original homeland and God will bring them into this land because of His holy namesake (Ezekiel 36:22).
Day by day we move closer to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy for the last days and this report of expanding the Jewish settlements is absolute proof that end times Bible prophecy is about to be fulfilled.
