China, the world's third largest economy behind the US and Japan is quickly becoming an even stronger economic power with the global economic downturn and the efforts to reverse this international financial crisis.
Chinese leaders are turning this economic crisis into a competitive advantage and China is becoming more assertive as it exploits its unusual position as a nation with piles of money and a strong banking system. The Chinese government and private Chinese companies are turning the global financial crisis into opportunity as they go shopping for foreign businesses to purchase both in Europe and the US.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The Chinese, taking advantage of a global financial crisis to develop an ever stronger China financially, militarily and politically is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
Those who have been watching China in the last decade have observed a disciplined nation financially, militarily and politically as they have quickly become one of the superpowers of the world. It is interesting to see China, a Communist state, tell Washington that as one of the United States' biggest creditors, they expect them to safeguard its investment. China will soon be the major consumer of petroleum products and this is basically because of its large population, the largest national population in the world. With their millions and billions of dollars of profit acquired in world trade, the Chinese are quickly becoming the largest and most powerful military force in the world.
This scenario just described is a similar scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy for the Last Days. Revelation 13:16-17 and chapter 18 describe an international economic structure in place following a global financial crisis. Revelation 16:12 describes the kings of the East as the major force to join the rest of the nations of the world as they surround Jerusalem, Zechariah 14:2, for the beginning of the campaign of Armageddon.
A stronger China, financially and militarily, coming out of the global economic crisis is a precursor to Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.
