State Department Supporting Communism and Islamism in Violation of Monroe Doctrine

By Bill Wilson

Marxism is on the rise in the Western Hemisphere as well as colonization in the Americas and it is embraced and supported by the current Administration. AFP reports that the US State Department has congratulated the Venezuelan people for voting by a 54-46% margin to do away with term limits for its president and congress. This vote effectively sets up a dictatorship by Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. State Department spokesman Noel Clay told AFP: "We congratulate the civic and participatory spirit of the millions of Venezuelans who exercised their democratic right to vote." AFP noted that it was uncharacteristically early for the State Department to issue a statement since the vote is not officially tallied.

The headlines also tell the sad tale of the death of 37 year old Asiya Hassan in Orchard Park, New York, allegedly beheaded by her husband, who faces second degree murder charges. Muzzammil Hassan is the prominent leader of the Islamic community near Buffalo and is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bridges Television. Jot readers may recall that we reported in 2004 the formation of Bridges Television, a television network aiming to show Muslims in a positive light in America. Mrs. Hassan had filed for divorce from Mr. Hassan and she had been issued an order of protection from her estranged husband. She joins the growing list of gruesome killings in America by Islamists family members.

So what ties these two events together? It is simple: The Monroe Doctrine. On December 2, 1823, President James Monroe in his message to Congress expressed the sentiment of American policy that...

"It is impossible that the allied powers should extend their political system to any portion of either continent without endangering our peace and happiness."
This is the statement of America's policy on colonization of the Western Hemisphere. The Monroe Doctrine is responsible for America's position against the spread of threatening forces colonizing in the Americas. In today's terms, communism and Islamism would most certainly be regarded as threats to the well being of our countrymen.

Yet the State Department celebrates the colonization of Islam in the US with Iftar feasts during Ramadan, and has supported Islamic rights to settle and colonize in the US through its Muslim Brotherhood plan to establish Islamic Centers and communication networks. And now the State Department is congratulating Venezuelans for their bold move to establish a communist dictator in Hugo Chavez. There is a point when pluralism crosses the line of the benign and becomes malignant. Proverbs 14:34 says,
"Righteousness exalts a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people."
Giving in to sin and sinful political systems such as communism and Islamism is a reproach Americans cannot afford.
