The Jihad against the US and the American way of life is on and just one small indicator is the hajib incident in a court outside of Atlanta, Georgia. An Islamic woman was arrested and sentenced to ten days in jail for contempt of court when she refused to take off her hajib, or headscarf, at the courthouse security checkpoint. The woman is now claiming that her civil and human rights were violated and has brought the Islamic version of the American Civil Liberties Union into the mix. The Council on American and Islamic Relations, CAIR, an unindicted co-conspirator in the recent Holyland terrorist money laundering trial in Texas, is calling for an investigation into the incident claiming the policy violates religious rights.
The Babylonian Empire in the prophet Jeremiah's time looked a lot like America does today. It was prosperous. It embraced many gods. It promoted homosexuality. It tolerated child sacrifice. Babylon was responsible for scattering God's chosen and persecuting them. And God decided to bring judgment upon the king of Babylon and his land. Jeremiah 50:24 says, "I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and you were not aware; you are found and also caught, because you have striven against the Lord." And in Jeremiah 52:14, the Lord says, "Surely I will fill you with men, as with locusts; and they shall raise a battle cry against you."
Today America has been filled with those who would raise a battle cry against her. These incidents where Muslims are challenging public policy and claiming religious discrimination are like soldiers probing stacks of straw with bayonets hoping to find ways to use the laws of the land against its citizens. And they are increasing in frequency. And they are part of an overall plan dating back to the 1980's forwarded by the terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood to create a "civilization Jihad" here in the United States. The question really is, however, has God lifted his hand of protection from our nation and are the Islamists the locusts who will raise the battle cry against the nation?
A friend of mine in South Carolina has a solution. He believes that we as Christians must reclaim our land and he intends to use the laws to reestablish Christianity and Christian values. It's a simple thing that we all can do, if we just have the same kind of commitment to our faith as do the Muslims. He was greeted at a store the other day by the clerk saying "Happy Holidays." He asked if he could speak to the manager. He told the manager that as a Christian he was offended by those words because the reason for the season is Christ's birth. As the conversation progressed, he filed a complaint that his religious rights were violated by a store policy that discriminated against Christianity. Maybe we should all be so bold.
