Rachel Ehrenfeld said: “The huge Republican gain in the mid-term elections diminished significantly President Obama’s political influence domestically and internationally. … [Still], Obama’s failure could encourage his plans for a Palestinian State. … His ill-conceived “peace plan” in the Middle East – pressuring Israel to freeze construction in areas claimed by the Palestinians, give up large parts of its territory, and recognize Hamas – seem to fit the bill. … The general opinion in Israel seems to support the notion that the changes in the House will do little to change Obama’s aspiration to create a Palestinian state. … A weak Obama at home should not be underestimated. He would surely use his office to exert significant power abroad, and perhaps force Israel to make dangerous concessions.”
God says: For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. The Jerusalem Connection says: The results of the mid-term elections do not alter God’s covenant decrees regarding Israel. His promises remain true and will yet be fully realized. In the meantime anti-Semitism, (presented under the veil of anti-Zionism and anti-Israel diatribes) makes unfettered gains in Europe as well as the Muslim/Arab world. It likewise flourishes in the humanities, political science and Mid-East Studies departments of American academia. In response, Christian Zionists must redouble their efforts along with Zionist Jews to expose those bent on the genocide of Israel and world Jewry for that matter. Take heart, we have the promise of Him who said, “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” [1 John 4:4].
