Throwing Fuel on the Flames of Constitutional Civil War

Bill WilsonBy Bill Wilson

If the Congress and the White House were not waging a war against the citizens and the Constitution, why would the person who is third in line to the presidency be worried about violence? In yet another attempt to curb free speech and limit political criticism, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters,

"I have concerns about some of the language that is being used...I saw this myself in the late '70s in San Francisco. This kind of rhetoric is just, is really frightening and it created a climate in which violence took place and...I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made...I think that they must take responsibility for any incitement they may cause."
Now one must question just who Pelosi means? On August 7, Pelosi referred to those opposing socialized healthcare at town hall meetings across the nation as Nazis. She was asked by a reporter if "there was legitimate grassroots opposition going on here." Pelosi replied,
"I think they are Astroturf. You be the judge. They are carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town hall meeting on healthcare."
Earlier this year, the White House released a Homeland Security Report that characterized Christians who believe in prophecy as terrorists. On September 16, former President Jimmy Carter called racist the "overwhelming portion" of those who oppose the man who occupies the Oval Office.

There have been countless other remarks by Congressional leadership and the White House belittling the legitimate concerns of citizens over the trampling of their Constitutional rights and characterizing these modern day patriots as the lunatic fringe. This is all part of a civil war that the leftist usurper leadership is waging on American citizens to overturn the Constitution and establish a socialist government. And if, God forbid, there ever is violence, these instigators and agitators will claim the high ground after they have for months taunted the American public to a revolutionary fervor and played on the American citizen's adherence to law as they pillaged the Constitution and the rights of the people.

The Bible warns in 2 Timothy 3 saying in verse 1 "that in the last days perilous times shall come." It warns that there will be "Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: form such turn away." Verse 13 says, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." Throughout the Bible there are examples of how immoral and godless leaders brought judgment and horror upon the people who tolerated them. And this group of politicians - of all parties - that infest the halls of elected government like vipers in their pit, must be turned away lest we suffer great evil as a people and a nation.
